THFD Training

Twain Harte Fire is dedicated to constant improvement through professional training.  THFD offers an array of diverse training opportunities to our emergency response personnel in the form of certificated courses and skill development workshops.  

THFD in the  only local fire department in Tuolumne County that has a live fire training facility located within it's district. THFD delivers realistic training to ensure constant response and safety improvement to better protect our community and surrounding area. The THFD fire training facility is used to offer certified courses and skill development workshops to staff, nearby cooperating agencies, and local fire academy and agencies across the state. It consists of:

·         2-Story Live Fire Prop

·         Fire Behavior Prop

·         Vertical Ventilation Trailer

·         Forcible Entry Equipment

·         Search and Rescue Prop

·         Command Simulation Room

·         SCBA Fill Station

·         Training Classroom
